Holidays—West Coast
There are nine holidays during the year:
- New Year's Day
- Presidents Day (third Monday in February)
- Good Friday
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
If a holiday falls on a Saturday it is celebrated on the Friday before. If a holiday falls on a Sunday it is celebrated on the Monday after.
