Under the direction of the Board of Directors, Ron is the Guild's chief negotiator and oversees all the Guild's operations. He participates in IATSE contract negotiations, including the Basic Agreement and The Videotape Supplemental Agreement, and serves as the principal negotiator for Local 700 post-production contracts. He serves as a Special Representative to the IATSE. Outside the office, Ron serves as member of the Board of Trustees of the Motion Picture Industry Pension and Health Plan.

Cathy manages the day-to-day affairs of the West Coast office. She resolves disputes between members and management, and when all attempts fail, carries out our grievance and arbitration procedures. She approves or denies immigration requests, attends monthly Business Agent meetings at the IA and represents Local 700 in the re-negotiation of expiring Network contracts. She also serves as co-chairperson of the IATSE Legislative Committee.

As National Organizer, Tris coordinates and supervises all of the Guild's efforts to organize non-union companies and shows across the country. He works directly with employees who want to unionize, providing them with information and strategies they'll need to help their company or show go union.

Rob works on Guild organizing campaigns within the Los Angeles area, helping members and prospective members mobilize to secure union contracts with non-union employers. Before coming to Local 700, he served as a national representative for the American Federation of Teachers, for whom he conducted organizing, contract, strike, and political mobilization campaigns across the country.

Jim worked as a re-recording mixer for nearly 30 years prior to coming to work at the Guild. He visits post-production facilities with the goals of meeting and conversing with Local 700 members, answering contract questions and attempting to settle disputes. He also assists in organizing campaigns.

Jacky joined the LA office as a Field Representative in Spring 2006. After a decade working as a business representative with the Screen Actors Guild in contract interpretation and enforcement, she moved to NBC, where she was a director of program standards and compliance in the television area. She has also freelanced on various business affairs projects. Jacky is happy to have "come home" to labor, where her roots are. Her duties as a Field Rep include performing work-site visits, taking calls from members regarding contract questions and helping to solve disputes.

Lisa assists the Executive Director and the Board of Directors in virtually every area of Guild business. Her primary job is to oversee the Guild's wide-area computer network and the website, provide computer assistance and training to the staff, and coordinate the annual Board of Directors elections.

As the Guild's Publications Director, Tomm serves as Editor of Editors Guild Magazine, oversees the content development of the Guild's website and all aspects of the bi-annual Directory of Members. Tomm has an extensive background in editing, writing for, and overseeing entertainment industry-related periodicals.

Dieter helps members with training and also coordinates many of the Guild's technical seminars. He is an experienced user of Avid, Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator and Protools systems and is happy to assist members with technical assistance or trouble shoot problems when possible. Dieter has worked as an online editor, graphic artist, and freelance editor.

Serena manages the Membership Services Department and is responsible for oversight of the Guild's expenditures and the operational functions of membership services. She works closely with the staff to create and implement special events such as screenings, seminars and mixers.

Meleney oversees the administration of the Guild's finances. Her responsibilities include processing members' dues, payment plans and life insurance; IATSE quarterly reports; accounts payable; and preparing financial statements. In addition, she is the Accounts Manager of the Editors Guild Magazine.

Adriana oversees the Membership Administration of the Editors Guild. She is responsible for educating members about the various Guild benefits, privileges, rules and responsibilities. She also assists members through the Industry Experience Roster qualification process. Adriana confirms and manages member upgrades and other status changes. In addition, she is the property manager for Local 700's building at 7715 Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.

Fred provides administrative support to the Membership Services Department. Fred will be the one you speak to if you need to discuss Honorary Withdrawals and Retirement. He also assists in monitoring the whereabouts of members who are working in union jobs and ensures that they are in good standing.
