For all contracts requiring payment of vacation and holiday pay, it is paid at the following rates unless otherwise stipulated in the individual contract:
- Vacation pay: 4% of guaranteed rate.
- Holiday pay: 3.719% of guaranteed rate.
Majors:
Holidays are paid as they fall. If any accrued holiday pay remains at the end of a calendar year, it is due and payable on or about March 15th of the next year. Vacation pay is earned in a calendar year and is due and payable on or about March 15th of the next year.

Independents:
Vacation pay is payable weekly at 4% of guaranteed wage. Holiday pay is payable weekly at 3.719% of guaranteed wage.
Payroll Companies:
Holiday pay is 3.719% weekly of guaranteed wage. Normally, holidays are paid as they fall. Any accrued and unpaid holiday pay is due and payable at the end of post production. Vacation pay is payable weekly at 4% of guaranteed wage.

An inadvertent failure to collect monies due does not mean they are lost. The final step would be to place this money in a member's Individual Account Plan at the Motion Picture Industry Pension Plan. If you're unsure about the status of your vacation and holiday pay, it is suggested that you call your past employers.
