New People
At The Office
Welcome to two new people
at the Guild office:
|
|
|
Jim Saunders
is a new field
representative. He comes to us from Local 695 where
he was an elected shop steward, then First VP and
finally, Acting President. He spoke at the 1995
IATSE convention where he was a first-time
delegate. Jim began his career as a cableman then
moved on to become a Foley mixer then an ADR mixer
at Warner Bros. Jim's wife, Swanzi, is a
psychotherapist specializing in marriage and family
counseling. They have three grown children and a
new grandson.

Andy
Larson is in the new
position of assistant organizer. He lives in
Valencia with his wife Kitty and daughter Anne
Marie. They enjoy spending time together,
especially outdoors, says Andy. They came to L.A.
from the Chicago area about eight years ago where
Andy worked production and post. Before joining the
Editors Guild he worked in broadcast operations.
"I'm very happy and proud to be part of the Editors
Guild," Andy adds.
