The Editors Guild to Sponsor 3rd Annual Hollywood Film Festival The 3rd Annual Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Film Awards will take place August 4-9. The Editors Guild is proud to be a sponsor of the event this year, and is working with show organizers to select a recipient of the Hollywood Outstanding Achievement in Editing Award. We are also joining with A.C.E. to develop a panel discussion on "The Art of Editing Feature Films," which will be part of the Hollywood Film Conference. In return for our participation, the Editors Guild logo is being included in the event's promotional materials, and we will receive recognition at a Gala Awards Ceremony, to be held Monday, August 9, at the Beverly Hilton hotel. In addition, all Guild members are entitled to a 25% discount on event activities. The Hollywood Film Festival consists of film screenings, a film conference, and the black-tie dinner and awards ceremony. The screening series showcases a selection of domestic and international feature films, shorts, documentaries and animation. The Hollywood Film Conference is a four-day symposium targeted at filmmaking professionals. The Hollywood Awards Gala pays tribute to both independent filmmakers through the Hollywood Discovery Awards, and Hollywood talent with the Hollywood Film Awards. Event pricing is: Individual screening tickets, $8. Screening series pass, $50. Four-day Hollywood Film Conference pass, $295. Gala Awards tickets, $150. VIP pass for admission to all events, $395. Guild members must present their Guild card when purchasing tickets to receive the 25% discount on the above prices.
