newly expanded course list, consisting of 88 separate classes from four Guild-authorized training facilities proved to be extremely popular.

We are now pleased to announce that the Guild will acquire an additional sum from the H1-B grant and will be able to provide more subsidized training for the membership in 2002. While the details have not been fully worked out, our goal is to get the program started as quickly as possible.

As an alternative, separate and apart from any subsidized program, the following Guild-authorized training facilities have generously offered a 20% or 25% discount to active members. For more information, contact the individual facilities.

We are also negotiating member-discounts at other area facilities and we'll have information available by the time you read this. In addition, we encourage members to utilize the extensive resources in our practice room, including two Avids, a full Final Cut Pro system, a Fairlight, a Pro Tools with a ProControl mixing surface, and a workstation equipped with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere.
