Training Program Update

There is a new addition at the Editors Guild. With the co-operation of Dave Rosen of Worldlink Digital, we now have a ProTools system at the office for practice by sound editors. We anticipate having the loan of an Audiovision from the same source.

Please remember that all of the systems at the Guild are for practice only. You must first either take a class or have some work experience. A coach/trainer is available or you may bring an experienced member to help you.

Video Symphony has extended a wonderful new offer to members of the Guild. Refer to "hands on time" and you will be afforded practice on the Avid system, Saturday or Sunday, for a three-hour session, free of charge. Instructors will be in attendance. Again, you must have first completed a class on the Avid system. Call for reservations, Monday through Friday, 9 am - 5 pm at (818) 525-1910.

We still have the Avid and Lightworks systems available for practice. Next year, we will offer training on the techniques of Moviola foot pedals. Watch for it!
