On the Streets of New York
New York members and staff of the Editors Guild stoutheartedly marched up Fifth Avenue from 44th Street to 72nd Street on Saturday, September 6, in the 2008 New York Labor Day Parade. Local 700 attracted over 20 marchers for this year’s parade. A celebration followed at Hurley’s Restaurant afterward. The parade was dedicated to the returning and stationed US soldiers in Iraq.
