If looking through your media with all of the takes and alternates still seems like you do not have enough, well you do and it’s not stock footage, it’s Adobe After Effects. Use or reuse footage with the intent of recreating the scene to fit your story.  If you feel like you are running low on options or the scene doesn’t quite work, maybe it needs a new cutaway or alternate angle to spice up the sequence.

During this seminar we will explore powerful tools that have been improved to isolate, rotoscope, shift focus, and draw out your idea with ease.

Topics include:
• Layering and Masking in After Effects or Importing Photoshop PSD with layers on a
  timeline, exported media. (image or video file)

• Rotobrush 2.0 (isolate element for use in another scene)

• Puppet Tool for re-framing and warping elements.

• Showcase of 3rd party options that speed up your work and limit the amount of steps
  needed.

While It is recommended that you have a basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop and After Effects, it's not mandatory to participate.

We will be using the latest version of After Effect 2020, but the majority of the features work in legacy versions.
