Address: Zoom Online Conference

The World Health Organization calls immunization one of modern medicine’s greatest success stories, saving 2-3 million lives each year. Yet there is skepticism about safety. With a vaccine for Covid promising to finally end the pandemic, UCLA Health Infectious Disease specialist, Dr. Ramee Younes,  discusses the facts and myths about vaccines to help you make informed choices for yourself and your family.

Dr. Ramee Younes is a board-certified infectious diseases physician who practices in Encino. Dr. Younes received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She then completed her internal medicine residency at Olive View-UCLA and her infectious diseases fellowship at UC Irvine. During her fellowship, she was awarded the inaugural Trainee Innovations Grant and developed an online infectious diseases curriculum for medical students and residents. Dr. Younes is also a clinical instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
