This course provides training for CPR, or for those who have a duty to respond to an emergency because of their job responsibility. A two-year certification card is issued to students who successfully complete the skills practice session. The curriculum consists of Adult and Child CPR, use of an AED with hands-on practice, relief of choking, and the use of barrier devices. Learn about the risk factors leading to heart disease and stroke, prudent heart living, signs and signals for action, and the chain of survival. Please bring a towel you can fold up and kneel on.
