COURSE DESCRIPTION
In this course we'll cover AE-ing from many perspectives, such as how to foresee and meet the expectations of producers, directors, editors, post supers, script supers, sound teams, venders, and DITs, based on budget, personalities, and workflows of the movie. We'll explore the technical end of the craft from beginning (budgeting and designing workflows), to the end (mastering deliverables and archiving). And along the way we'll gain insights into learning the business as it continues to evolve and shift technically and artistically. This means touching on Resolve, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other post production tools. And it includes how best to land the job itself, what pitfalls to look out for, and how to cultivate fruitful relationships along the way.
