Tom Vogt will present both the theoretical and practical aspects of comedy animation editing. Using the “South Park” work flow, he will illustrate the animation process from script to air. He will show scene examples and breakdown the writing and collaboration aspects of how an animated series and feature come together.

Thomas Vogt is a comedy film editor working in animation, narrative features and television, documentaries for the past 30 years. Most notably, Tom was the lead editor on the Emmy and Peabody award winning South Park television series from 1998 - 2006. Tom also edited the critically acclaimed satirical Showtime series “Our Cartoon President” with executive producer, Stephen Colbert.
Thomas comedy feature credits include, "South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut", "Team America: World Police” directed by Trey Parker, "Pom Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold" directed by Academy Award nominated, Morgan Spurlock and the upcoming “Impractical Jokers Movie" directed by Funny or Die’s Chris Henchy.
