Meet Me At The March
on January 18, 2020
at 10am
in Pershing Square in Downtown LA.
Meetup Location: We will be meeting at the metro stop at 4th and Hill at 9:30am. We will all walk over to the start of the march together at 9:50am. The march will begin at 10am.
Cell reception will be spotty, so please look for IA shirts.
T-Shirts: The IA West Coast Office has sponsored t-shirts for the event, please see the proof and order form. Please submit an order as soon as possible as shirt sizes are first come, first served. Orders will be ready for pick up on 1/15/2020. Please submit your orders and arrange your pickup times with Carolyn Benane at cbenane@iatse.net.
The March: The march itself lasts for about a mile from Pershing Square (5th & Hill- 532 S. Olive Street) to City Hall (200 N. Spring St), where there will be a lineup of political and celebrity speakers. The route does feature some steep hills so please wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen and lots of water.
Transportation: Taking the Metro is recommended as some of the streets will be blocked off for the march. The Red and Purple line stop at Pershing Square Station for more information about the metro please visit www.metro.net. There is also a parking structure at 408 S. Hill Street.
