By popular demand we have asked Karla Lagunas to present a second seminar.  Anxiety disorders were already the most common mental illness in the U.S. before the current public health emergency. Each year more than 40 million adults are affected yet only a fraction receive treatment. UCLA Health Therapist, Karla Lagunas, LCSW, MSW discusses the cycle of anxiety, its impacts, management and treatment.

Karla Lagunas is a bilingual Spanish-speaking licensed clinical social worker at UCLA Health Behavioral Health Associates Calabasas clinic. She specializes in trauma and is certified in Managing Adaptive Practice, Seeking Safety, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy evidence based practices. Lagunas received her master’s degree in social work from USC. She received a bachelor’s degree with a major in psychology and social welfare from UC Berkeley.
