A: Employees utilizing AI systems to perform services shall continue to be covered under the CBA while performing such work.
A: You must adhere to your employer’s policies regarding its usage. Additionally, you should always make sure you have your employer’s consent in writing prior to feeding intellectual property into any system. The Producer alone has the right to determine the use of, or rejection of, AI systems.
A: Yes, your employer must indemnify you from liability and necessary costs, including providing you a legal defense, resulting from any claims arising from the use of AI systems. Please notify a field representative immediately by calling the Guild or emailing

You are also protected from the scanning of your visual or vocal likeness without consent, which must include a description of intended use.

A: Please report AI systems (or any new tool) used for the first time on every project or assignment in the form below. It is extremely important to know what tools are being integrated into member workflows, and how, for the protection of our classifications’ covered work. In addition, this information will assist us in preparing for negotiations. Although having specific examples will be extremely important, we have also allowed for such information to be reported anonymously.
