The Guild has an Apprentice Editor Pilot Program that allows Apprentice Editors and Editing Room Assistants to perform Assistant Editor duties in order to learn how to be an Assistant Editor in Picture, Music or Sound.
To access the expanded duties contained within the Pilot Program, please contact the Guild for approval before hiring each Apprentice Editor or Editing Room Assistant to request inclusion in the program. The Apprentice Editor classification is subject to roster provisions if employed within Los Angeles County.
