Gordon Antell is a Los Angeles-based Financial Professional with New York Life. For more than 35 years, he worked in the entertainment industry as a Film Editor, VFX Editor, and Assistant Editor on a wide range of studio and television productions, giving him firsthand understanding of the freelance lifestyle and financial challenges faced by creative workers.

After decades in post-production, Gordon transitioned into financial services and began building a practice with New York Life nearly a year ago, focusing on helping individuals, families, and members of the entertainment community better understand long-term financial planning through education-based conversations. His work includes guidance around life insurance, retirement planning, long-term care, disability income protection, and financial strategies designed to help provide stability in an often-unpredictable industry.

Gordon has also been working alongside Bryan Schimmel of Monarch Grove Wealth Advisors to help educate individuals and families on a broad range of financial planning topics. Together, they aim to provide practical, accessible information tailored to the unique needs of entertainment industry workers.
