The Guild is happy to announce another two day Master Class, “Superteases & Promo Editing for Unscripted Television." Episodic, reality, documentary or commercial editors and assistants are invited to attend.
- Sign up for a two-day program (you will be immediately placed on a Waiting List)
- REFUNDABLE deposit required
- Class is 10:00AM - 6:00PM daily
- Small groups of 7-10 students per class
- Independent editing time plus one-on-one time with instructor
- Analyze an hour of broadcast television in-depth to identify moments to be highlighted in promo
- Provide members with experience editing an episode of unscripted television down to promo-length content including super teases and next-ons
- Learn methodologies for tease editing and basic popular effects
- Learn why "supertease editors" are in demand and can command higher salaries
- Participants will be required to watch the episode in advance.
- Each Member will have their own iMac workstation running Avid Media Composer 8.5
