Investing 101: The Rules of the Road

Chirs Reddick, AAMS, CRPS has been with Edward Jones since 2015 he is an accredited Asset Management Specialist and a Chartered Retirement Plan Specilist. 

I work with content creators, influencers and media professionals both in front and behind the camera. Many of my clients live in Los Angeles, but I work with professionals across the greater US.

My investing experience started when I was only 10 years old. My grandfather was a business owner and stock market investor in a small town outside of Youngstown, OH. Seated on his lap, we would flip through the newspaper business section and pick out stocks for my own account he had opened. He let me call in our orders to his broker. I still own many of those investments today.

I was drawn to the entertainment industry at a young age, took TV production courses in high school and set my sights on moving to Los Angeles.

Shortly after moving, I found myself at Warner Bros. Studios producing Blu-ray, DVD and digital content. In this role, I learned how to ask great questions and manage my clients' realistic expectations. I had the pleasure of working with some of the finest filmmakers in the motion picture industry, an experience which I am forever grateful.  Many of those skills I learned interacting with creative talent are still applicable today with my work serving those clients with their financial needs.
