Join the Emerging Technology Committee for a Zoom presentation regarding the impact of artificial intelligence and emerging technology on post production.

The following topics will be discussed:

• Foundational technological concepts
• The strengths and limitations of generative artificial intelligence
• An analysis of emerging technology's potential impact on various post production occupations

This presentation will focus on emerging technologies of interest to picture and non-sound occupations.

Target occupations for the picture and non-sound presentation include: Scripted/Unscripted Picture Editors, Animation/Animatic Editors, Trailer Editors, VFX Editors, Assistant Editors, Loggers & Transcribers, Story Analysts, and Engineers.

A second presentation focusing on sound occupations is scheduled for Saturday, December 16 @ 9:30 am. If you are interested in attending the sound event, please RSVP.
