PEC: JUNE 2026 CALIFORNIA PRIMARY

 

Election Day for the California Primary is June 2, 2026! 

The last day to vote in-person, to drop off a completed ballot, or to vote by mail is Tuesday, June 2nd. (Note that mailed ballots must be postmarked by June 2nd in order to be counted.) Be sure to get your ballot cast before the deadline!  Use this resource to find your polling place or a nearby voting center. Local 700 encourages all members to vote and make your voices heard! 

While the Editors Guild generally does not endorse candidates and has not endorsed candidates in this election, the IATSE, the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, and the California Federation of Labor Unions (all of which we belong to) have all made endorsements. The California IATSE Council has endorsed Tom Steyer for governor and Karen Bass for mayor of L.A.
