Contest Submission Guidelines


IMPORTANT DATES

Entry Period: June 1st – June 30th

Voting Period: July 6th July 20th

Winner Announced: July 22nd



ARTWORK

  • Submit original artwork only
  • No AI generated content
  • Digital or hand‑drawn designs are welcome
  • Use up to 2 colors
  • Include "Motion Picture Editors Guild"
  • Include the IATSE bug with “700” (download below)
  • Include the year "2026"
  • Artwork size: 2”×2” to 6”×6”
  • No trademarked or copyrighted images
  • No obscene, indecent, or profane imagery
  • Accepted file formats: PDF, JPG, PNG (max 10MB)
  • Winning artist will need to provide a high‑resolution file
  • Members must be in good standing with the Guild
  • One submission per member

The creator of the winning entry will receive a $100 gift card as our thank you.

The winning design will be showcased across our social media

The winning design will be printed on white t-shirts and offered for purchase at MPEG events


 

Disclaimer

By submitting an entry, you grant MPEG the right to use the submitted material at its discretion.

The Board of Directors Contest Workgroup reserves the right to request modifications to any design as necessary to ensure compliance with contest guidelines or technical requirements.

Participants may not post or publicly share their design submissions prior to the launch of the official voting website.
