Meet our salsa instructor, Maria Diaz.

Specializes in Latin dance styles like Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, Chacha and more. As a Colombian native, she is the pioneer of Colombian-style Salsa (Salsa Caleña) on the West Coast. With a Bachelors degree in Dance and a specialization in Kinesiology from UCLA, she combines a grounded understanding of kinesiology with professional dance practices, ranging from Latin dance, ballroom, jazz and ballet to folklore and hip-hop.  Read her Yelp review.

Helpful hints:

  • Position your monitor so the instructor can see the whole body or at least view your footwork.
  • Project on largest monitor available
  • Be mindful of your flooring. Wear shoes with not too much grip or consider socks to slide easier.

Zoom invite and details will be emailed to all RSVPs prior to the event.
