Instructor: Steven Saltzman - Music editor, composer and educator.

Steven earned a Bachelors of Music in composition and film scoring from Berklee College of Music in Boston and composed numerous films and television scores.

He has been music editing for over twenty years with a Golden Reel award and seven Golden Reel nominations.

Saltzman has recently published the only current book on music editing: Music Editing For Film and Television, The Art and The Process with Routledge / Focal Press - Taylor & Francis Group. There’s a new book in the works as well. He enjoys teaching music editing and post production audio for composers as well as lecturing at various institutions and venues internationally and domestically, including UCLA Extension, California State University, USC, and Chapman University. He is a new member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Steven also sits on the board of the Entertainment Industry Professionals Mentoring Alliance (EIPMA) and has current membership with the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) the Motion Picture Editors Guild, an Associate Member of The Guild Of Music Supervisors and the Society of Composers and Lyricists.
